  6. Monitor the operation of production systems, e.g., ensure delta updates for the DW are complete prior to users accessing the refreshed data.
  7. Conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
  8. Prepare data for decision support (reports, dashboards etc), for integration with other systems.
  9. Enhance and monitor data quality, including publication of a data catalogue.
  10. Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
  11. Develop analytical tools and programs.

  3. Input to a product manager’s expression of business requirements (normally through use cases) and an architect’s high-level design.
  4. Write low-level designs (based on requirements and high-level design) – including the physical data design - and work with the team to develop and deploy code.
  5. Problem-solving and communication skills.
  6. Very strong engineering skills working with data scientists and data engineers.
  7. Experience of manipulating and optimising the use of data from disparate sources.
Desirable:
  1. AWS, FiveTran, DBT and Snowflake experience.
  2. Team / Technical Leadership / Management.
  3. Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  4. Certifications in AWS, Snowflake, or other equivalent technologies.
