An exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Data Engineer to lead projects using AI and machine learning in healthcare, specifically to enhance cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment as part of PharosAI at Barts Health. The role involves working with a growing team focused on healthcare data applications to deliver innovative products and services.
The project has secured £4.3m from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to develop AI models informed by data from the Barts Health Data Platform and tissue bank, benefiting patients in North East London and beyond.
Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/2028

As part of Barts Life Sciences, the postholder will lead the development of AI-driven healthcare solutions, working with data, clinical teams, research groups, and community partners to achieve health, economic, and social benefits for east London and beyond.
