We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer, Remote Sensing Scientist with strong technical experience across data acquisition, storage, processing, analytics, and agile delivery.

You will join an Earth Analytics team to accelerate the development of geospatial data products.

The role involves rapid prototyping, delivering scalable remote sensing features, and collaborating across science, engineering, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver remote sensing product features (e.g., forest carbon, land use).

Act as a scientific contact for commercial and technical teams.

Support evolution of geospatial pipelines and models.

Engage with non-technical stakeholders to explain scientific methods clearly.

Requirements:

PhD or equivalent in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Data Science, Environmental Science, or related field.

Experience with MRV protocols (e.g., IPCC, VCS, GS, CAR) and NBS carbon standards.

Familiar with field data collection, uncertainty quantification, and biomass modelling.

Proficient in Python geospatial stack (e.g., Rasterio, Geopandas, Xarray).

Passion for climate science and innovation.
