Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers within agile delivery environments.
• Designing end-to-end data solutions from ingestion and transformation through reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and modern data warehousing, Snowflake preferred.
• Experience with Python, DBT, CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Strong data modelling, data integration and ETL skills in enterprise settings.
• Ability to influence decisions and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

As a Senior Data Engineer within the Finance Data Squad, you'll lead the delivery of data products that underpin key financial systems and insights. Your work will directly support business performance, helping Finance make better decisions through high-quality, scalable data solutions.

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers within agile delivery environments
• Strong experience designing and delivering end-to-end data solutions, from ingestion and transformation through to reporting and analytics
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and modern data warehousing technologies, ideally including Snowflake
• Experience with data engineering and automation tooling such as Python, DBT, CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data integration and ETL processes
• Experience working with large and complex datasets within enterprise environments
• Ability to influence technical decisions and promote engineering best practice
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
