We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our leading insurance business. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and architecture.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data management and processing and contribute to the development of innovative data-driven solutions.

The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, ideally with proficiency in:

  • A programming language (preferably Python)
  • A data processing platform (Databricks, Spark, Snowflake)
  • Building CI/CD pipelines
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL

About the role
  • Design and implement scalable and robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on data integration processes, data flows, and data lineage.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, recommending and adopting best practices.
