Senior Data Consultant - Interim - London - Insurance Broking experience required

The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed insurance brokerage undergoing significant transformation and M&A activity. They’re looking for an interim Senior Data Consultant to lead the definition and execution of their data & analytics strategy. This high-profile role involves working directly with C-suite and PE stakeholders to build a scalable data foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and deliver a firm-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with commercial and operational goals.
• Assess current data systems, governance, architecture, and reporting.
• Shape and plan the future data landscape, including warehousing, integration, and BI tooling.
• Implement data governance frameworks, quality controls, and reporting standards.
• Consolidate data assets following recent acquisitions.
• Identify high-impact analytics use cases to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Support executive decisions with insights on data platform options and organizational design.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Extensive experience in senior data leadership or consultancy roles within insurance broking.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics.
• Experience in PE-backed or transformation environments, especially post-acquisition.
• Ability to operate strategically with hands-on skills to deliver results in an interim role.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable advising senior leadership and private equity sponsors.
