Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Data Centre Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT infrastructure and cloud platform projects across multiple UK locations. You will manage scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining strong customer relationships and working with virtualization technologies including VMware.

Ideal candidates will have proven delivery of IT infrastructure projects, VMware experience, and strong leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure and cloud platform projects.
Hands-on experience managing VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrades or similar virtualised environments.
Strong leadership and influencing skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure and cloud platform projects (initiation through to closure).
Deliver end-to-end complex projects or lead a medium size portfolio.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and cloud teams to ensure alignment on design and delivery.
Build and manage project teams.
Control risks, issues, dependencies, and change.
Support solution design and sales cycles.
Maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Ensure projects meet financial and quality targets.
