Mitie is recruiting a Data Centre Manager to lead the operational delivery for a critical data centre portfolio in Peterborough and Corby, site-based. This high-profile role requires steering a 55–60 engineering team, ensuring safe operation of power, cooling and M&E systems while maintaining service excellence in a highly regulated environment.

You will manage incidents, KPIs and client stakeholders, with oversight of projects and soft services within the integrated facilities management model.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Centre Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong background in critical environments and mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational management of multiple data centres across Peterborough and Corby.
• Manage Technical Managers and a 55–60 engineer team in a 24/7 critical environment.
• Oversee power, cooling, high voltage and M&E systems; incident management and RCA activity.
• Manage KPIs, SLAs and compliance; liaise with senior client stakeholders.
• Oversee portfolio projects and soft services within the facilities management model.
