PSR Solutions is recruiting an experienced Operations Director to lead and grow the data centre delivery capability across live projects in the Yorkshire region, with potential national responsibilities as the business expands.

The role requires hands-on operational leadership for safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery in mission-critical environments, including fast-track refurbishment and complex MEP projects.

Qualifications

• A strong engineering contracting background.
• Significant experience within the data centre or mission-critical sector.
• A proven track record delivering large-scale and complex MEP projects.
• Experience working within live data centres or other critical environments.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
• A track record of delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior operational leadership across current data centre projects.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
• Manage key client and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure operational continuity within live and critical environments.
• Drive safe, timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Support the development and expansion of the data centre project pipeline.
• Identify opportunities to grow the organisation's data centre capability.
• Develop and implement business plans to support future growth.
• Provide direction and leadership to the wider Operational function.
• Ensure effective governance, processes and consistent operational standards.
• Drive capability development and high performance across the function.
• Work closely with commercial teams to ensure effective integration between operational and commercial delivery.
