Job Description:

Senior Data Architect (ServiceNow) is required for a European leader in cloud implementation, application development, and managed services within the Financial Services industry, based in London.

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Group in enhancing its response to regulatory deadlines through the use of ServiceNow. You will be a key member of the team, assisting in delivering tooling requirements, solution design, testing, and deployment into a business-as-usual environment, helping meet Operational/Data Resilience FCA & PRA regulations.

Location: London (2 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities:

Play a key role in core Data Resilience activities, including coordinating technology-led data maintenance processes to ensure the Group’s Data Resilience status is accurate, complete, and current. This involves understanding data and resilience, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ServiceNow development, with the ability to shape solutions, support requirement gathering, and collaborate with developers.
• Expertise in the ServiceNow Platform: IT SM, CMDB, GRC, INS-PI.
• Strong understanding of CMDB classes and relationships within ServiceNow, including messaging queues, batches, unstructured data, applications, and datastores.
• Ability to build relationships across diverse business teams and a passion for technology, particularly in Data Resilience topics such as data vaulting, backup, and encryption.
• Experience in conducting workshops and engaging stakeholders independently.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in processes like daily stand-ups, release planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Solid knowledge of Power BI, including its capabilities and limitations.
• Excellent project management skills, especially in overseeing report development projects.
• Understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
