Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge of NHS data definitions and clinical terminology.
• Ability to contextualise complex data for diverse audiences.
• Experience translating national guidance into technical deliverables.
• Experience in supplier management and procurement.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Snowflake to support researchers.
• Knowledge of R and Python and handling queries.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and optimisation of secure, scalable data platforms for health research.
• Evolve the NHS Secure Data Environment within the Imperial Biomedical Research Centre.
• Deliver translational projects in Digital Health under NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre.
• Lead development of curated datasets for research use cases.
• Serve as main contact for London service wrapper/front office for data curation and support.
• Collaborate with data engineers and project managers to translate requirements into pipelines.
• Represent London SDE at national forums and communities of interest.
