Job Description:
Zearch is partnering with a leading GIS/Geo-spatial SaaS business to hire an experienced Data Architect for projects in the Telco & Utilities sectors.
- Collaborate with clients to evaluate data quality and business value, performing detailed assessments of critical data elements.
- Assist in defining data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Review client systems to understand data flow and customer interaction.
GIS Data Modeling & Transformation
- Design GIS data models aligned with business goals, transforming data using tools such as Python, Perl, Safe FME, and proprietary utilities.
- Translate datasets into standardized formats supporting scalable workflows.
- Establish automated data ingestion and transformation routines.
Documentation & Compliance
- Create documentation for data architectures and transfer processes.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards like PII, PCI, PI, FERC, and CPNI.
Deployment & Operational Support
- Contribute to deployment teams for implementing data models.
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize data sources based on assessments and business goals.
- Document data collection and transfer methods to meet standards.
- Integrate new data sources into ongoing projects.
ETL Development
- Develop automated ETL pipelines prioritizing scalability and reliability.
- Have a strong background in data architecture and modelling.
- Experience with data mining, relational databases, and GIS/CAD tools.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and analytics tools is a plus.
Qualifications
