News UK is seeking a senior data leader to advance data maturity and maximise value from investments. You will helm a team of data architects and analytics engineers, align business strategy with technical execution, and mentor across distributed teams.

You will design scalable data solutions using BigQuery and GCP, champion data quality and architecture standards, and partner with BI, advertising, and newsroom teams to translate complex requirements into robust engineering plans.

Qualifications

• End-to-end data solution design experience using BigQuery and GCP.
• Ability to bridge business and technology with clear engineering docs.
• Proven leadership of distributed technical teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scalable, performant data solution design.
• Lead hands-on development and prototyping of data solutions.
