Turnitin is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect & Governance Lead for a 9-month engagement, UK remote. You will shape data strategy, establish governance, and define target-state architecture across reporting domains while partnering with executives to drive a trusted data foundation.

You will lead cross-functional governance, set metric standards, and produce a pragmatic roadmap for sustainable, enterprise-wide analytics and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise data governance, architecture or reporting controls.
• Experience across Finance, Sales, Revenue Ops, HR, Eng, BI.
• Strong data lineage, quality controls, data transformation and reconciliation.
• Experience supporting Executive, Board & Investor reporting.
• Governance frameworks, ownership models, metric standards.
• Facilitation of cross-functional agreement on metric definitions.

Responsabilités

• Assess current reporting and analytics landscape.
• Define ownership and governance for critical data.
• Develop target-state architecture for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Establish standards for metric definitions and trusted reporting.
• Propose an operating model balancing consistency with autonomy.
• Create a practical roadmap for implementation and investment.
• Facilitate alignment across executives and business stakeholders.
