Job summary

Imperial Brands PLC is seeking a Senior Data Architect to shape the enterprise data strategy and define architecture, models and standards that enable data to drive business success. This role leads data architecture across the organisation, translating complex requirements into scalable data solutions that power analytics and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Significant experience across data and technology domains.
• Developing and managing strategic frameworks including roadmaps, standards and governance models.
• Strong practical understanding of enterprise technology delivery, security, and operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the enterprise data architecture and data model, ensuring scalable, reusable data assets.
• Define and govern data modelling standards, architecture principles and design patterns for data structure, storage, integration and access.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into data architecture solutions.
• Design and maintain future-state data architecture aligning with Data Product models and asset structures.
• Collaborate with data leadership to ensure enterprise data management requirements are reflected in architecture designs.
• Maintain artefacts, guidance and reviews, providing support to delivery teams and establishing metrics and reporting.
