Job summary

Metrica Recruitment seeks a Senior Data Architect specialising in AI and cloud consulting. You will design secure, scalable platforms across AWS, Azure or GCP and own key architecture choices for enterprise transformation projects.

You will shape data strategy, AI governance and responsible operating models, turning ideas into PoCs, MVPs and production designs, with frequent client interaction and senior stakeholder advisory.

Qualifications

• Strong background in cloud, data or AI architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud-native tooling, including containers, Kubernetes or serverless.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Confident client-facing communication and stakeholder advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud data and AI architecture across enterprise transformation programmes.
• Design secure, scalable platforms across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Modernise legacy estates into cloud-native, AI-ready environments.
• Shape data strategy, governance and responsible AI operating models.
• Deliver proofs of concept and MVPs that validate business value.
• Advise senior stakeholders on architecture, risk and technical direction.
