Job summary

Sanderson Government and Defence is seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join a high-profile government programme in Central London. You will design end-to-end data architectures across a complex technology landscape, delivering scalable and secure data solutions for critical services on a contract basis.

The role requires active Security Check (SC) clearance and NPPV3 clearance, strong data governance and modelling skills, and collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Architect in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong data governance and metadata management knowledge.
• Active SC and NPPV3 clearances are required.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architecture solutions across complex enterprise environments.
• Define architecture for data ingestion, storage, validation, transformation, integration and reporting.
• Produce logical and physical data models.
• Work across multiple applications, platforms and technologies to create integrated data solutions.
• Establish data architecture standards and best practices.
• Embed data governance, quality, security and compliance in solution designs.
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, analysts and senior stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Produce technical documentation and architecture artefacts.
