Job summary

Sanderson Government and Defence is seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join a high-profile government programme in Central London. You will design end-to-end data architectures across a complex technology landscape, delivering scalable and secure data solutions for critical services on a contract basis.

The role requires active Security Check (SC) clearance and NPPV3 clearance, strong data governance and modelling skills, and collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Architect in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong data governance and metadata management knowledge.
• Active SC and NPPV3 clearances are required.

Salary: £143,000 - 148,200 per year

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Architect, with a proven track record delivering enterprise-scale data solutions in complex environments
• Experience working across multiple systems, applications and organisational domains
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, storage, validation, transformation and integration
• Excellent logical and physical data-modelling skills
• Experience with modern data platforms, data warehouses and cloud-based data solutions
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and metadata management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Active SC (Security Check) clearance
• Active NPPV Level 3 (NPPV3) clearance

Were seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a high-profile programme delivering enterprise-scale data solutions in a secure government environment. This is a contract role paying £570 per day, outside IR35, with hybrid working requiring three days per week onsite in Central London; an immediate start is preferred.
