Job summary

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking a Senior Data Architect for a 12-month hybrid contract across multiple UK locations (Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield). You will lead data architecture for the New Style Modernisation Programme, designing and governing data models and metadata standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in data architecture design, modelling, and metadata management.
• Proven ability to present data architecture to governance forums.
• Strong knowledge of MDM, data cataloguing and data governance.
• Experience with event-driven patterns, Pub/Sub and data streaming.
• Knowledge of public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience in Agile delivery and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities
