Job summary

Client is expanding its data capability for a major UK Public Sector client. As a Data Architect you will own end-to-end solution design across on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments, guiding delivery teams and governance throughout the life cycle.

You will shape data pipelines, data governance, metadata and security, working with BI/analytics tools and AI-enabled services. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and ability to balance technical quality with delivery

Qualifications

• Hands-on data architecture experience across full data life cycle.
• Ability to lead technical delivery in complex environments and balance technical quality with delivery outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data architectures and data governance concepts.
• Experience with cloud migrations and multi-sourcing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design data architectures including metadata, lineage, quality and ownership to ensure trusted data from source to consumption.
• Own architectural direction for data consumption by humans and autonomous agents, including analytics and AI services.
• Provide governance and guidance on AI adoption within data platforms.
• Develop architectures for end-to-end data solutions including ETL/ELT, storage and analytics.
• Advise on data warehouse/lake solutions and modelling concepts.
• Ensure architecture governance and alignment with client vision across life cycle.
