An government organization is seeking a Data Architect to design data architecture and define strategy while ensuring systems are secure. This role includes a focus on data modelling and requires strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders. The position offers flexible hybrid working options and a range of employee benefits.
Location: The locations for this role are Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), Manchester and London.
We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.
Salary: £56,020 - £70,634 (National: £56,020 - £66,043, London: £59,311 - £70,634) plus £1,300 skills allowance

We're looking for an expert in data architecture to join our Data Growth & Operations (DGO) directorate, taking on a key role helping to ensure our many diverse data needs are met as an organisation, to a highly secure, effective standard - as well as helping to set the vision for the future of how we use data.
You'll be highly involved not only in designing data architecture, but also defining data strategy and principles across the organisation with leading stakeholders and ensuring all of our systems are watertight and fit for purpose across their whole lifecycle. This role will have a particular focus on data modelling.
What do we need you to bring to the table?
-Strong data modelling expertise
-Confident in data service integration & assurance for a variety of uses/needs
-Proactive communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and a willingness to challenge, engage and facilitate in difficult discussions.
