Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to ensure consideration of architecture at all stages of the delivery lifecycle and input into architecture processes.
- Work with specialists to ensure advice aligns with organisational needs.
- Consult with stakeholders to ensure decisions are aligned with data architecture strategy.
- Contribute to the data architecture vision, strategy, and roadmaps, including 'as is', 'to be', and transitional states for customers.
- Review and create data strategies that meet business requirements.
- Coordinate analysis, design, and modelling techniques to maintain data structures.
- Investigate complex enterprise data requirements.
- Manage data requirements and data models through their lifecycle.
- Plan data modelling activities, selecting appropriate techniques and detail levels.
- Guide clients on business, technology, and data decisions to ensure value and risk reduction.
- Understand client ecosystems and interdependencies.
- Contribute to architectural principles, policies, and standards.
- Develop policies and standards for data strategy development and planning.
- Ensure compliance with data modelling and design standards.
- Adhere to applicable standards (corporate, industry, national, international).
- Provide leadership and mentorship to teams, defining standards and best practices.
- Act as pre-sales architect for bids and proposals, assisting with estimation and planning.
- Participate in business development and client meetings to secure new business.

Technologies, Methodologies, and Frameworks:
- Experience with architecture modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of handling personal data (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience within architecture domains.
- Understanding of delivering complex technology services with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of industry developments and technology impacts.
- Experience working in secure environments.
- Active SC clearance.
- DAMA CDMP certification.
- Experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience in UK Central Government or Defence sectors.
- Industry-recognised technical qualifications.
- TOGAF certification and application experience.
