Senior Data Solutions Architect – Belfast / Hybrid

An award-winning tech consultancy is growing its Data & AI practice and looking for a Senior Data Architect to join the team. This is a client-facing, strategic role focused on designing and delivering impactful data solutions across public and private sector clients.

What you'll do:

• Lead the design and build of scalable data solutions, primarily within the Microsoft data stack (Azure, Synapse, Power BI).
• Translate business goals into data strategies and technical requirements.
• Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Engage directly with senior stakeholders to shape data-driven solutions.
• Stay ahead of trends in data engineering, analytics, and architecture.

What you’ll bring:

• 7+ years in data-focused roles, with strong Azure/ETL/data modelling experience.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and modern data architecture.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale projects.
• Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks is a plus.

Bonus points for:

• Background in consultancy or partner environments.
• Relevant Azure/Databricks certifications.

The salary range for this opportunity is £80,000 - £90,000, plus some fantastic benefits.
