Role Description

The Senior Data & BI Analyst will play a critical role in enabling data access, platform operations, and analytical data modeling across Live Nation's international data functions. You will manage data workflows, ensuring seamless data access and usability in Databricks, BigQuery, Tableau, and Looker. You will lead the development of data models and analytical structures to support reporting teams and enable self-service analytics capabilities. The role requires strong collaboration with data engineering teams and business stakeholders to manage data migration, integration, and transformation efforts while delivering high-quality dashboards and insights.

  • Proven experience in BI platform management, data engineering, and analytics operations roles with focus on enabling analyst teams
  • Hands-on expertise with Databricks, BigQuery, Tableau and Looker, Python, and advanced SQL for creating views, tables, and optimising data structures
  • Strong knowledge of data pipelines, data modeling, and database design with experience building scalable analytical data models using Python and SQL
  • Experience in analyst enablement including training teams on data access, platform usage, and self-service analytics
  • Technical skills in service account management for BI platform administration in enterprise environments
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences

What the role includes

  • Champion the Databricks data platform - ensuring data access, data quality, and enablement for delivery of dashboards, insights and data modeling across the organisation
  • Manage data workflow operations in BigQuery and Databricks, supporting reporting and analytics use cases; lead migration of relevant data sources to optimise platform performance
  • Design and build new views, tables, and data models using SQL and Python to support reporting teams and enable self-service analytics capabilities
  • Manage and support Tableau & Looker BI platforms, ensuring dashboard operations, data connections, performance optimization, and delivering high-quality dashboards for business stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain analytical data structures including customer data tables, behavioural analytics models, and integrated reporting views in Databricks using SQL and Python
  • Manage service accounts to BI connections and provide technical support to analyst teams on data access, query optimization, and platform usage to enhance their analytical capabilities
  • Partner with local market teams and reporting functions to align metrics, dashboards, and data transformation processes across regions
  • Document data models, views, and pipelines, and develop internal enablement materials and training resources for self-service analytics teams
