Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Database Analyst to join our EBDS Data Management team, partnering with business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into data-enabled solutions and drive value through analytics across our global platforms.

The role requires hands-on SQL with SSMS/SSIS and Oracle design, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills to own data quality, governance, and scalable data products for commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on technical skills with the ability to contribute as needed.
• Excellent SQL expertise, including SSMS/SSIS and Oracle database design.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into practical data solutions.
• Excellent communication, able to tailor results for different audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt; Salesforce experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to translate strategic goals into data/analytics initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytical and data solutions.
• Deliver best-practice data products and solutions.
• Ensure quality of individual deliverables and contribute to QA of team outputs.
• Support data requirements, data modeling, data quality, and governance issues.
• Contribute to key projects and programs critical to team success.
