Data Analytics Senior Manager – Kings Cross London

The Data Analytics team provides accurate, consistent, timely, and reliable information, ensuring it's easily accessible for users, either for direct use or integration with other systems.

The team trains CSI managers and staff to utilize data as an analytical tool for understanding and exploring options.

  • Champion a culture of fact-based decision-making, data quality, and accountability across the enterprise.
  • Serve as the chair for the business data analytics governance council, reviewing and approving information policies, data analytics priorities, and resource allocations.
  • Review and recommend approval of information-related policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead Data Analytics workstream projects, managing complex, cross-functional, and enterprise solutions.
  • Establish processes, roles, and quality criteria for workstream planning, including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery.
  • Oversee work plans, timelines, deliverables, and resource commitments.
  • Approve data architecture, data models, and specifications.
  • Set and publish performance metrics and plans for DA service demand and levels.
  • Manage budgets for DA assets, personnel, and services.
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate DA team members.
  • Review and approve functional requirements and business cases for DA improvements.
  • Advise executives on how DA enhances business management and optimization.
  • Align DA technologies with CSI strategic initiatives and approve tools and frameworks for data analytics.

Responsible for strategic, tactical, operational, financial, human, and technical management of DA and related areas:

  • Data governance
  • Data sourcing, acquisition, and integration
  • Data warehousing
  • Reporting, analytics, and data exploration

DA Competency Center or Center of Excellence (DA COE):

  • A university degree in computer science, economics, operations, management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating professional and managerial capabilities.
  • Industry/domain expertise in finance, HR, sales, marketing, product lifecycle, manufacturing, or post-sales service.
  • Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of analytical processes such as governance and measurement.
  • Experience with agile software development.
  • Understanding of trends like machine learning and AI.

The salary range for this role is £70K - £85K.
