Client Server Ltd. in London is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to own analytics initiatives, modernise the data platform, and turn complex data into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Excellent SQL and data modelling skills.
• Hands-on experience with dbt Cloud, modelling, testing, documentation and CI/CD.
• Experience with Metabase or equivalent BI platform.
• Strong Oracle/PL/SQL experience, including packages and stored procedures.
• Experience with AWS and modern data warehouse/data lake architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Able to drive projects through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build analytics solutions, data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
• Develop the business reporting layer, including testing, documentation and CI/CD.
• Build dashboards and self-service analytics using Metabase.
• Use advanced SQL and data modelling to deliver robust data solutions.
• Support migration from Oracle to AWS and data platform modernization.
• Contribute to data pipelines and data warehouse/lake development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Lead data migration and transformation initiatives with legacy teams.
• Prioritize and manage work through JIRA/Agile.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and data quality.

Senior Data Analytics Engineer London / WFH to £95k

Are you a Senior Data Analytics Engineer who combines strong technical skills with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a well established consumer facing financial services company that help people to manage debt, as they go through a technical transformation and scale-up following recent investment.

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer you'll join a growing Data Team where you'll take ownership of analytics initiatives, help modernise the data platform and turn complex data into meaningful business insight.

You'll work across analytics engineering, data modelling and data engineering, partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, high quality solutions. You'll also play a key role in the migration from Oracle to AWS and the development of a modern data platform.

What you'll do

• Design and build analytics solutions, data models and transformations using dbt Cloud
• Develop the business reporting layer, including testing, documentation and CI/CD
• Build dashboards and self-service analytics using Metabase

• Work with Oracle / PL/SQL, including packages and stored procedures, supporting the migration to AWS

• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with legacy data warehouse teams and support data migration and transformation initiatives

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support across analytics projects

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in fantastic new offices in London that offer a wide range of facilities including wellness rooms and onsite gym for three days a week with flexibility to work from home twice a week.

About you:

• You have strong commercial experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer or similar
• You have excellent SQL and data modelling skills
• You have strong hands-on experience with dbt Cloud, including modelling, testing, documentation and CI/CD
• You have experience with Metabase or a similar BI / analytics platform.
• You have strong Oracle / PL/SQL experience, including a good understanding packages and stored procedures
• You have experience with AWS and modern data warehouse / data lake architectures
• You're a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills - able to bridge the gap between business and technology
• You're comfortable taking ownership, managing competing priorities and driving projects through to delivery
