Autotrader, the UK's leading automotive marketplace, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to shape consumer journeys through advanced analytics and data product design. You will work with engineers, designers, and researchers to build tracking, metrics, and experimentation that guide product decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer-facing product teams and analytics.
• Experience overseeing experimentation programmes and practices.
• Strong understanding of statistical inference (Bayesian or Frequentist) and predictive analytics is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of analytics tools for tracking and analyzing user behaviour (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Ability to articulate complex analytical solutions to stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Experience planning and delivering analytical projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Mentoring and leading other analysts toward collective goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish metrics for your product area with governance and definitions.
• Lead the design of data products and collaborate with engineers on implementation.
• Define and continuously improve tracking to measure user behaviour and product performance.
• Own experimentation programme outputs and collaborate with Design and User Research in ideation.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence decisions with data-driven recommendations.
• Be accountable for your team’s success and mentor other analysts.
• Plan and prioritise analytical components of projects with clear communication to Analytics leadership.
