Job summary

DVSA is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Digital and Data directorate. The role focuses on leading data analysis initiatives, developing data models and reports, and transforming patterns into organisational insight.

You will collaborate with Service and Product owners to shape analysis requirements and guide strategic decisions. You will work with a range of analytical tools to explore data ethically, drive data services, and support the delivery of new data solutions for the business.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of data analysis techniques, use cases and impact, plus the tools and technologies involved.
• Ability to handle and analyse large and complex data sets.
• Experience in scoping, designing and delivering data analytics outputs and products.
• Collaborative work with experts to support organisational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support data analysis initiatives to create change and inform decisions.
• Engage with Product owners to define data analysis requirements and recommendations.
• Explore data using various analytical techniques while ensuring ethical use of data.
