Job summary

Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency seeks a Senior Data Analyst to lead data analysis efforts across DVSA's Digital and Data directorate. You will develop data models and reports, transform patterns into actionable insights, and collaborate with Service and Product owners to shape data requirements and solutions.

You'll explore data with a range of analytic tools, ensuring ethical use, and contribute to delivery of new data services to support DVSA's mission to keep Britain moving safely and

Salary: £44,241 per annum

Your responsibilities will include, but aren t limited to:

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

• Have a broad knowledge of data analysis techniques, use cases and potential impact, as well as the tools and technologies.
• The ability to handle and analyse large and complex sets of data.
• Have extensive experience in scoping, designing and delivering data analytical outputs and products.
• Work collaboratively with a range of experts in support of organisational objective.s

Qualifications

You must either:

• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a subject containing formal mathematical training (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Sciences, Business Studies etc) or;
• Have relevant and direct experience in a mathematics/data analytics role.

Candidates must provide evidence of one of these qualifications or be withdrawn from the process.

Qualifications

You must either:

• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a subject containing formal mathematical training (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Sciences, Business Studies etc) or;
• Have relevant and direct experience in a mathematics/data analytics role.
