Job summary

ClwydAlyn Housing in St Asaph is seeking a Senior Data Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead reporting solutions, dashboards and automation tools across the organisation.

You will work with stakeholders to understand needs, translate requirements into actionable insights, drive data quality and contribute to the wider data strategy while delivering high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

Senior Data Analyst

St Asaph with Hybrid Working | 37 Hours per Week | Fixed Term Contract (12 Months) | £45,357.29 per annum

We're looking for an experiencedSenior Data Analystto join our Business Transformation team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how data is used across the organisation, helping colleagues make informed decisions that improve services and outcomes for our residents.

About the Role

As Senior Data Analyst, you'll be a key member of our Business Transformation Team, leading the development of reporting solutions, dashboards and automation tools that support colleagues across the organisation.

You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, improve reporting capabilities and help drive ClwydAlyn's wider data strategy.

This is a role for someone who can quickly get up to speed, work independently and confidently translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and analytical solutions.

What You'll Bring

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Strong, practical experience of SQL and Power BI.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports and performance reporting solutions.
  • The ability to analyse complex datasets and present meaningful insights.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements.
  • Experience working within a regulatory or governance-focused environment.
  • Strong data quality, validation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong experience of Power Automate to improve processes and automate workflows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to quickly understand systems, processes and reporting requirements.

Experience mentoring colleagues, supporting self-service reporting, or contributing to data strategy and governance initiatives would be advantageous.

Recruitment Process

Interviews will take place on 28 September 2026 and 30 September 2026

Shortlisted candidates will complete a technical SQL assessment as part of the interview process

The successful candidate will be expected to commence employment in November 2026
