We are seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Consultant to join our growing team and play a key role in helping our customers turn data into meaningful insight and measurable impact. In this role, you will design and deliver robust data and analytics solutions that strengthen data foundations, enable AI-driven initiatives, and support better operational and strategic decision-making.

About the Role

The Senior Data & Analytics Consultant designs and delivers data and analytics solutions that help customers improve operational performance and decision-making. Working closely with the AI Practice Lead, Business Consultants, Functional Consultants and delivery teams, this role ensures strong foundations in data management, governance, analytics, and integration, enabling both AI-driven initiatives and standalone data solutions. The role combines hands‑on expertise, solution leadership, and customer engagement to ensure our customers can effectively leverage their data to improve decision-making, operational performance, and service delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Advisory

  • Contribute to the development of customer data strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Ensure data foundations are structured, governed, and scalable so they can support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on modern data platforms, governance, and architecture

Data Governance & Quality

  • Define and implement data governance practices to ensure accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance
  • Support customers in establishing policies, standards, and data management frameworks

Data Analytics & Insights

  • Analyse complex datasets and translate findings into clear operational and strategic insights for customers
  • Translate data into actionable insights that support operational improvement and decision-making

Data Management & Warehousing

  • Design and implement scalable data platforms including data warehouses, lakes, and relational databases
  • Ensure efficient data storage, accessibility, and performance

ETL & Data Integration

  • Design and oversee ETL pipelines integrating data from multiple business systems and external sources
  • Ensure reliable and scalable data ingestion across cloud and on‑premise environments

Data Architecture & Engineering

  • Collaborate with project teams to design secure, scalable, and high‑performance data solutions
  • Support implementation of modern cloud data architectures

Automation & Workflow Optimisation

  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform and related tools to streamline data processes and improve efficiency

Advanced Data Solutions

  • Design and deliver data solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure Data Services, Microsoft Dataverse, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 integrations
  • Enable predictive analytics and advanced modelling where appropriate
  • Support AI initiatives by ensuring high‑quality, well‑structured data foundations
  • Deliver data solutions that provide value independent of AI use cases
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and other analytics platforms
  • Provide real‑time visibility into key performance indicators and operational metrics

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with customers to ensure solutions align with operational needs
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business‑focused manner

Delivery Leadership & Capability Development

  • Support pre‑sales engagements including discovery workshops, solution design, and proposal input
  • Contribute to shaping commercially viable data solutions aligned to customer outcomes
  • Mentor consultants and analysts to build organisational data capability
  • Promote a data‑driven culture within projects and the wider business
Knowledge and Experience
  • 5+ years' strong experience in data analytics, engineering, or business intelligence within a consultancy or technology services environment
  • Proven expertise in data modelling, warehousing, and relational database design
  • Experience designing and delivering cloud‑based data solutions, particularly within Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration across multiple systems
  • Experience integrating Microsoft technologies (e.g., Dynamics 365, Azure Data Services, Power BI) with third‑party platforms
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles
  • Hands‑on experience with SQL and one or more data programming languages
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse data structures and integration patterns
  • Experience delivering complex data projects in customer environments
  • Experience working with and understanding public sector data, security and governance

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform for process automation
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, reporting, and visualisation techniques
