Job summary

Maxwell Bond is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex data into insights, supporting better business decisions. The role focuses on creating impactful Power BI dashboards, delivering insights across the payments division, and driving self-service reporting and data governance.

You will work closely with data engineering and technology teams to improve data models and structures, leveraging Python and Azure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI and Databricks to build dashboards.
• Data engineering and data pipelining experience.
• Knowledge of Python, Azure or similar tech is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

What you\'ll do as a Senior Data Analyst

• Create impactful dashboards using Power BI and reporting solutions that simplify complex data and support better business decisions
• Deliver actionable data insights to stakeholders across the payments division
• Support the development of self-service reporting and data governance
• Work closely with data engineering and technology teams to improve data models and data structures

Experience as Senior Data Analyst

• Strong experience with Power BI and Databricks, with the ability to hit the ground running
• Experience building front-end dashboards and reporting solutions
• Data engineering and data pipelining experience
• Knowledge of Python, Azure, Databricks, or similar technologies is advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with data governance, financial data, or payments data is desirable
• Salary up to £55,000
• Hybrid working, with up to 3 days working from home
• 25 days annual leave
