Job summary

Understanding Recruitment is seeking a Principal Data Analyst to own and build components of a fintech data platform, blending analytics with data engineering.

You’ll work on payments, credit and commercial data, and report directly to the Head of Data. The role is genuinely remote across the UK, with quarterly meetups in London to align on strategy and progress.

Candidates are comfortable driving end-to-end data products from concept to production, with a strong ownership mindset.
