Job summary

Funding Circle Ltd. in London seeks a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data team under Tech & Data.

This 12-month FTC role focuses on delivering scalable Tableau reporting, automating manual processes, and partnering with business users to translate data into actionable insights. You will migrate analytics from AWS Athena to Snowflake with 3rd party developers, design modular data models in dbt, and mentor colleagues to build AI-enabled data solutions that align with our mission to back UK small

Qualifications

• Deep Expertise in SQL with experience working with modern Data Warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience with DBT, building and maintaining modular, scalable data models.
• A practical approach to problem-solving that balances high technical standards with key business priorities
• Expert in Tableau Desktop.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner smoothly across non-technical teams using Data for story telling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Able to architect custom AI solutions and smart automated systems that are safe, maintainable, and aligned with our long-term mission
• Act as a technical bridge and mentor, training “builders" across the company to move from basic AI usage to sophisticated system creation
• Strong understanding of financial datasets or prior exposure to the banking/fintech sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain performant, scalable and best practice Tableau reports.
• Collaborating with business users to understand their needs with the aim to automate identified manual processes, and create documentation for Tableau reports.
• Provide training and support to Tableau users.
• Support and collaborate with 3rd party developers to ensure a successful migration from AWS Athena to Snowflake whilst representing the businesses needs.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data team, which sits under Tech and Data.
This role is a 12 month FTC joining a team of experienced analytics engineers and managers to support the increasing Analytical demands across the business. In this role, you will:

• Design, develop and maintain performant, scalable and best practice Tableau reports.
• Collaborating with business users to understand their needs with the aim to automate identified manual processes, and create documentation for Tableau reports.
• Provide training and support to Tableau users.
