Role Purpose

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to turn raw behavioural and commercial data into actionable insights. You’ll help shape key business decisions by working closely with Marketing, Trading, Product, and Retail teams. This is your opportunity to build measurement frameworks, run causal analyses, and create self-serve dashboards that empower teams to make confident, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate open-ended questions from cross-functional teams into clear analytical briefs, conducting in-depth analysis and landing actionable recommendations.
• Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B tests and causal-inference studies (e.g., lift analysis, hold-out tests), and communicate results in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Define measurement frameworks and success metrics, ensuring every initiative has a clear data plan from day one.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design efficient, accurate data sets and automate data checks to keep everything running smoothly.
• Champion self-serve analytics by developing live dashboards and providing training to non-analysts.
• Spot growth opportunities by combining behavioural data with commercial metrics to size new products, markets, and campaigns, prioritising by impact and effort.

Skills and Experience

• Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write exploratory queries or optimise multi-table joins in Snowflake.
• Strong experience with product analytics tools like Heap, Amplitude, or Mixpanel, and the ability to set up events, funnels, and cohorts from scratch.
• Knowledgeable in A/B testing, experiment design, and the basics of causal inference.
• Experienced in building tracking plans and KPI frameworks to measure success.
• Experience modelling data in dbt (or similar tools) and automating checks to maintain clean, accurate feeds.
• Proactive and independent, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
