Job summary

Deerfoot IT Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Data & AI Architect to help clients design, build and scale intelligent data platforms, embedding AI capabilities across the enterprise. The role focuses on scalable, secure architectures and cloud transformations.

Hybrid work with occasional travel to London, Manchester or Glasgow; requires strong consulting skills and experience across AWS, Azure and GCP, Kubernetes and IaC, and a track record delivering data/AI programmes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cloud architecture across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Expertise in cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes and serverless platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps and CI/CD automation.
• A strong consulting background with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• A solid understanding of data, analytics and AI technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience within sectors such as the UK Public Sector, Financial Services, Telecommunications or Retail would be advantageous, as would relevant cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Designing scalable, secure and cost-effective data, analytics and AI architectures.
• Leading cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure and GCP environments.
• Developing AI-enabled solutions, Proofs of Concept and MVPs that deliver measurable business value.
• Defining enterprise data and AI strategies, governance frameworks and architecture roadmaps.
• Driving automation through DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders to shape strategy and deliver transformational outcomes.
• Supporting business development activities, proposals and thought leadership initiatives.
