Senior Damp and Mould Surveyor

Location: Burton Upon Trent - Hybrid working available

Salary: £52,000 - £53,000 per annum

Overview

Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Damp and Mould Surveyor to lead damp and mould inspections and remediation efforts within a reputable housing association. This is a key role focusing on diagnosing complex building defects, leading surveyor teams, and managing repair work with a strong emphasis on customer service and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth damp, mould, and disrepair surveys in tenants' homes.
  • Diagnose root causes (e.g., condensation, structural issues) and define remedial actions.
  • Commission and manage repair work via internal teams and specialist contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations in collaboration with Contracts Managers.
  • Lead, mentor, and drive performance across a team of surveyors.
  • Handle complex disrepair claims and provide technical advice through resolution.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, especially for vulnerable tenants.
