Our end user client is looking for a highly skilled Senior D365 F&O Developer to lead the development and enhancement of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) platform. This role demands deep technical expertise, the ability to mentor junior developers, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with functional team members to understand their requirements.

The role will be mainly remote, with likely on-site work in London or Birmingham 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement customizations and integrations within the D365 F&O platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize system performance and ensure scalability.
• Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced developers.
• Stay updated on new features, updates, and best practices within the D365 F&O ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and security.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O development.
• Proficient in LCS, X++ and Visual Studio for D365.
• Strong understanding of the D365 F&O data model, workflows, and business processes.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Azure services is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS, and integration technologies like OData and REST APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
