Perceptive in London is seeking a Cyclotron Engineer to maintain and operate two Siemens RDS Eclipse cyclotrons, enabling production of 11C and 18F isotopes for TR and DPS studies.

The role provides significant autonomy, requires 5+ years in PET cyclotron operation, and emphasizes safety, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement while supporting night shifts on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in electronics and/or mechanical engineering or related technology.
• 5+ years’ experience in PET cyclotron operation and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Self-motivated with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of working with radioactive materials is essential.
• Understanding and adherence to safety rules.
• English: Fluent.

Responsabilités

• Management of Cyclotron Operations and Associated Systems.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting of cyclotron equipment.
• Provide Risk Management & Failure Prevention.
• On‑Call and Out‑of‑Hours Engineering Support.
• Maintain Cyclotrons and Supporting Systems (ACS and RNDS).
• Delivers reliable Cyclotron Operations including training, repair, and maintenance of two Siemens RDS Eclipse cyclotrons.
