Leonardo UK Ltd in Yeovil is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead the cyber and information security workstream for a core product delivery. You will steer a team through requirements, design, development, and in-service support while ensuring security to customer risk appetite.

The role requires a degree in cyber security or related field and professional security certifications, with strong leadership, communication, and governance skills. Hybrid working is available in Yeovil.

Qualifications

• A degree and/or master’s degree in cyber security and/or a systems or software engineering discipline – or relevant comparable experience.
• At least two recognised professional cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CASP/SecurityX and/or Chartership or comparable in a security related discipline (ChCSP).

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to a team delivering cyber and information security across an engineering lifecycle.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable security plans, statements of work, and activities.
• Become the lead security subject matter expert for the delivered product.
• Oversee statements of work and artefacts to time, cost and quality constraints.
• Identify, manage and escalate technical and delivery risks and issues.
• Manage customer relationships for the cyber and information security workstream; line-manage consultants as needed.
