Senior CyberSecurity Architect Principal - Business Consulting

Infosys Public Services is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to join our team.

Overview

Cybersecurity Architect – will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust security architectures that protect our organization from cyber threats. The candidate must have a deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and experience with various domains within cybersecurity, including network security, application security, cloud security, and incident response, to ensure the security and integrity of systems and data.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise-level security architecture and frameworks.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security technologies, tools, and strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing across systems and networks.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to align security strategies with business goals.
  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective IAM solutions.
  • Implement and manage various security controls for cloud environments to protect data and applications hosted in the cloud.
  • Support resolution of security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct periodic security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity, and recommend enhancements to existing systems.
Required experience and skills
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the design and implementation of cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, TOGAF).
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IAM technologies (e.g., LDAP, SSO, MFA) and products such as Entra ID, Savvynt, Oracle Identity and Access Manager, Okta, security protocols, and tools (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
  • Subject matter expert knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as NIST/ISO/COBIT.
  • Experience in producing threat & risk assessment reports.
  • Experience in IT security awareness and training.
  • Experience with security assessments and authorization (SA&A) activities for IT systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various levels.
  • Have at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIAM.
Educational Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Three years of progressive, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of each year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree program are strongly preferred.
Other requirements
  • The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Must be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
