This role reports directly to the Head of IT Operations and will have visibility to senior management. You will work closely with the organisation's SOC provider and lead a growing cyber security team.

• Work closely with the SOC provider to maintain robust monitoring and response capabilities.

Profile

• Extensive experience in cyber operations with a proven track record of delivering improvements of cyber security.
• Recognised certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP (desirable).
• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies (desirable).
• Knowledge of ISO27001 and ISMS principles; public sector experience is an advantage.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team of specialists while influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Skilled in defining and executing cyber security strategies and processes.
• BPSS clearance required.
