Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to enhance cyber strategies across IT and OT environments. The role includes responsibility for designing and implementing security capabilities, and requires a hands-on engineering approach to building resilient security measures.

The ideal candidate will have experience in security engineering with strong knowledge of detection and response techniques, along with relevant educational qualifications and industry certifications. You should be comfortable working collaboratively while effectively managing security controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Engineering focusing on detection & response in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of IT and OT systems and infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and maintain security controls.
• Implement detection and response capabilities through SIEM integration.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rota.
• Develop and manage operational procedures.
• Monitor ongoing control performance and coordinate remediation.
