Job summary

As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Thames Water, you will design, implement, and continually improve security controls across IT and OT, translating risk and regulatory demands into practical, measurable measures. Qualifications

• Experience in security engineering with detection & response focus.
• Knowledge of IT and OT infrastructures.
• Experience identifying and remediating cyber risks in digital environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, implement and maintain security controls.
• Implement detection and response capabilities with SIEM integration.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rota for SIEM health and log ingestion.
• Manage security platforms (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, email security).
• Develop operational procedures and reporting methodologies.
