Job summary

Berkeley Square IT Ltd in Oxford is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to act as the technical authority for cyber security, owning security infrastructure, incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls.

You will lead security initiatives across networks and endpoints, manage vulnerability programs, and drive incident investigations while collaborating with IT, security, and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Next-Generation Firewalls, IDS/IPS and network security.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of PAM, network segmentation and secure configuration.
• Experience leading security incident response and investigations.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls desirable.
• Strong networking/security background, CCNA qualified or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across IT, security, compliance and senior stakeholders.
