Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join Hitachi Rail for a fixed-term contract in London. The role involves Cyber Security Engineering, Planning, and Delivery, supporting large-scale integrations and assisting the CISO.

1. Review all available integration data
2. Identify all Cyber Security deliverables and gaps
3. Create and maintain action plans
4. Coordinate pre-day-1 and day-1 preparations and actions
5. Plan and oversee day-2+ activities
6. Track progress, risks, and issues
7. Review, report, and approve system and service designs

Candidates should demonstrate:

Essential Requirements:

• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior managers
• Experience in 2nd and 3rd line engineering for large organizations
• Structured approach to planning and delivery
• Experience with large-scale Cyber Security projects, mergers, or changes
• Knowledge of network security architecture, IAM, firewalls, proxies, DLP, SIEM, SOAR, SOC
• Excellent documentation and diagramming skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences

Qualifications:

• Cyber Security certifications (e.g., security products)

Desirable:

• Experience with global network integrations
