Senior Cyber Security Engineer (SIEM / XDR)
Permanent
Salary: Up to £65,000 plus bonus
Location: Sheffield
Working arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days on Site, 2 from home, 9-5 Mon-Fri)

Your new company: I’m on the lookout for a talented cyber security engineer based in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your cyber security career with a renowned UK organisation. This role requires eligibility to obtain SC and NPPV3 clearance; as a result, it does not offer visa sponsorship.

Your new role will involve:

1. Working with clients on Splunk, LogRhythm, Qradar, CrowdStrike, and Sentinel
2. Creating use cases, playbooks, and runbooks for this organisation’s clients
3. Designing, configuring, and integrating SIEM and XDR platforms with clients
4. Advising on security engineering best practices to clients
5. Acting as a 3rd line escalation point for analysts
6. Testing implementations and integrations
7. Creating documentation as required

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience as a 3rd line security engineer
• Experience with Splunk, LogRhythm, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, and Qradar
• Experience advising on SIEM/XDR implementations, integrations, configurations, and designs
• Eligibility for SC and NPPV3 clearance
