Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security controls for Microsoft Azure, M365 environments, and other business areas as required.
• Develop and implement Zero Trust security architectures and strategies.
• Manage and maintain access management (IAM) systems and processes.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor security systems and analyze security events escalated from our managed SOC to detect and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide technical security guidance and support to other IT teams and business areas.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
• Lead security projects and initiatives.
• Maintain good stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Certification in CISSP or CISM.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical security roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 security features.
• Extensive experience with Zero Trust security principles and implementation.
• Deep understanding of access management (IAM) concepts and technologies, including EntraID.
• Experience with government systems and audits such as OneLogin or GovAssure is highly desirable.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, CyberEssentials Plus, and CIS.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to security best practices.
