Job summary

EDF Trading Limited is seeking a senior cyber security professional to own security domains end-to-end and drive practical improvements to reduce risk across our IT landscape. The role covers threat-informed remediation, security tooling administration and cross-functional collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.

You will lead vulnerability management, incident response, and security governance while leveraging MITRE ATT&CK to prioritise actions.

Qualifications

• Operated as a senior technical contributor in cyber or infrastructure security.
• Owned or contributed to cyber security domains such as endpoint security, vulnerability management, identity security, network security, incident response or Microsoft 365/Azure security.
• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon and EDR investigations; improving endpoint security controls.
• Experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, secure web gateways or zero trust tools.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment, risk prioritisation and remediation across enterprise environments.
• Applied threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK to prioritise mitigations.
• Led or supported security investigations and incident response activities.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more cyber security domains end-to-end, manage risks, controls, tooling and backlogs.
• Identify weaknesses and drive resolution with technical owners.
• Lead security improvement initiatives from analysis to implementation and handover.
• Translate threat intelligence into practical security improvements.
• Maintain domain documentation including risks, controls and standards.
• Provide input into security roadmaps and control improvements.
• Administer and tune cyber security tools (CrowdStrike, Zscaler) and improve tooling effectiveness.
• Design and deploy small tools or automations to improve operations.
• Support integration of tooling into workflows, reporting and incident response processes.
• Maintain knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID and security controls.
